Cursor Customiser is an independent project building the clean, honest custom cursor extension for Chrome — the one without ads, accounts or tracking.
Who makes it
Cursor Customiser is built and maintained by a small independent team — not a big ad network, and not affiliated with Google. We make one thing and try to make it well: a free browser extension that lets you change your cursor to hundreds of original, genuinely-animated cursors. Everything on this site, from the constructor to the collections, is made by the team behind the extension.
What it actually does (and what it doesn’t)
We’re deliberately honest about scope: Cursor Customiser changes your cursor inside the Chrome browser, not across your whole operating system. It’s a browser extension, so there’s nothing to download and nothing that touches Windows, macOS or ChromeOS at the system level. That’s why it’s safe, instant, and reverts cleanly the moment you turn it off. It also works on other Chromium browsers — Chrome, Edge, Opera GX and Chromebook.
Why we built it
Every “custom cursor” extension we tried was buried in ads and pop-ups, and the “animated” ones were usually a single frozen frame. So we built a clean one: real 60fps animation, cursor trails and click effects, no ads inside the extension, no account, and no data collection. It’s free, and it stays out of your way.
Privacy & trust
We collect no browsing data and ask only for the permissions the extension genuinely needs to draw your cursor. The full details are on our privacy & permissions page. We’d rather tell you plainly what the extension can and can’t do than overpromise.
