Custom Cursor for Firefox

Cursor Customiser is a Chrome extension today. Here’s the honest picture for Firefox, and what to do in the meantime.

A Chrome browser extension that restyles your cursor inside Chrome, not your operating system.

Straight talk

Firefox uses a different extension engine (not Chromium), so our Chrome extension doesn’t run there yet. We’d rather tell you that than have you install something that won’t work. A Firefox build is on our radar.

Hundreds of original cursors across themed collections, plus a constructor to build your own pair.

Your options on Firefox right now

You can browse Firefox add-ons that offer cursor themes, or change your operating-system cursor in Windows/macOS settings (which then shows in Firefox too). Neither gives the animated, per-site control our Chrome extension does, but they work today.

Prefer the full experience?

If you also use Chrome, Edge or Opera GX, Cursor Customiser runs there with hundreds of cursors, trails and a constructor. It’s free and adds in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Cursor Customiser for Firefox?

Not yet. Firefox uses a different extension engine. Our extension currently supports Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Opera GX).

How can I change my cursor in Firefox today?

Change your OS cursor in system settings (it shows in Firefox too), or use a Firefox add-on cursor theme. For animated, per-site cursors, use a Chromium browser with our extension.
