About the Neon cursor collection
The Neon collection gathers packs drawn to look lit from inside. Nine are the site's own designs. Neon Ooze Orb spills purple, green and cyan light. Lumina Pulse Drop shimmers in ultraviolet pinks and purples, and Lime Ripple Wisp mixes electric blue with neon lime. Solar Flare Light and Solar Flare Sprite are the fiery pair, Prism Ember Sprite is a rainbow flame, and Lumen Glow Sprite is a soft blue lantern. The other ten are fan-made and unofficial: Valorant Neon, Fortnite Neon Raven, Overwatch Neon Genji, Rocket League Neon, Geometry Dash Neon, Gacha Neon, Super Saiyan Goku, Rick and Morty Portal, Barbie Neon and Eye of Sauron, each drawn as a neon sticker with a soft outer glow.
Why a neon cursor needs a dark page
A glow is only a pale halo of colour, and it reads as light when the page behind it is darker than the halo. On a black or charcoal site the soft edge around Fortnite Neon Raven or Geometry Dash Neon looks like a tube sign switched on. On a white page the same halo has nothing to shine against, so the pack looks paler and flatter. If dark mode is on in most of your tabs, this is your collection. If you spend the day in white documents, treat these as evening cursors.
Liquid light: orbs, drops and wisps
The original designs are not signs but glossy shapes that seem to hold light. Neon Ooze Orb is a plump orb with a short pointing tendril on hover. Lumina Pulse Drop and Lime Ripple Wisp are droplets that reach out to point the same way. Solar Flare Sprite is a molten orb with a flame tendril, and Solar Flare Light is a streak of plasma in red, yellow and purple with a glowing hand. Neon Spark Pixel is the odd one out, an electric-blue sprite built from chunky 16-bit blocks.
Characters redrawn as tube signs
The fan-made half swaps the usual chibi style for outlines of light. Valorant Neon crackles in electric blue with a lightning bolt on hover. Overwatch Neon Genji is in green with a neon shuriken. Rocket League Neon is an Octane with underglow and a boost trail. Super Saiyan Goku is vivid gold with a Kamehameha blast, Rick and Morty Portal is a neon-green swirl with a portal gun, and Eye of Sauron pairs the fiery eye with the One Ring. Barbie Neon is a pink script sign with a heart. All are still images, so nothing flickers.
Which Neon pack to pick
Match the colour to your theme. For a purple setup take Fortnite Neon Raven or Lumina Pulse Drop. For cyan, Geometry Dash Neon. For green, Overwatch Neon Genji or Rick and Morty Portal. For pink, Barbie Neon. Gacha Neon turns into a glowing heart on hover. If you use light pages too, Molten Magma Pixel is the safer pick, since its deep reds and dark crust do not depend on a glow. Run the sign-style packs a size larger so the outline stays clear.

Where Neon cursors work
Neon cursors suit the sites people keep dark: Twitch and Discord in a tab, YouTube with its dark theme on, Reddit, Spotify's web player and game stat trackers, in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera GX. They do not light up the desktop, the Discord or Spotify apps, any game client, chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store.
Frequently asked questions
Do neon cursors actually glow or animate?
No. Each pack is a still image drawn with a soft outer glow, so it looks lit without moving or pulsing. If you want motion, turn on a trail or click effect in the extension, which follows the cursor separately from the pack.
Will a neon cursor show up on a white page?
It shows, but weaker. The glow needs a darker background to read as light, so sign-style packs such as Rocket League Neon look paler on white. Molten Magma Pixel, with its deep reds and dark crust, holds up better on light pages.
Is there a neon cursor for Opera GX?
Yes. Opera GX is a Chromium browser, so any pack here works on web pages in it. With a dark GX theme, Valorant Neon in electric blue or Fortnite Neon Raven in purple can echo the browser's accent colour. Both of those are fan-made and unofficial.
Is there a neon purple or neon green cursor?
For purple, Fortnite Neon Raven is a fan-made neon-purple figure and Lumina Pulse Drop is an original droplet in ultraviolet pinks and purples. For green, Rick and Morty Portal and Overwatch Neon Genji are fan-made, and Lime Ripple Wisp mixes neon lime with electric blue.
