About the Pixel Art cursor collection
The Pixel Art collection is sorted by drawing style: everything here is built from visible square blocks. Most packs are the site's own designs. Animals include Emerald Pixel Frog, Mossy Toadlet, Frostpuff Pixel Pup, Azure Pixel Parakeet, Puddle Pixel Newt and Baby Axolotl Pixel. Snacks include Aqua Donut Buddy, Froggy Sprinkle Donut, Lime Candy Cube, Saffron Mango Pixel and Raspberry Jelly Cube. Plants and weather cover Lilac Bloom Pixel, Violet Pixel Shroom, Dewdrop Pixel Pal and Frosted Pond Pixel. Eight packs are fan-made and unofficial: Sonic Pixel, Roblox Pixel Noob, Among Us Pixel, FNAF Pixel Freddy, Pixel Droid Duo, Plantera Seedling and two Minecraft blocks, Enchanted Gold Cursor and Fire Coral Block.
Pixel art cursors shaped like an arrow, not a mascot
Two packs keep the classic pointer outline. Non-Photo Blue Pixel is an 8-bit arrow in a vivid blue, with a matching pointing hand over links. Molten Magma Pixel is an arrow too, drawn as if carved from magma, with deep reds, bright orange veins and a dark cooled crust, and a lava-styled hand on hover. Both show plainly where the click will land, which a round sprite cannot do as well. Most of the other packs are small characters, where the hover image is the same sprite raising an arm, paw or leaf.
Game sprites and Minecraft blocks, made by fans
The fan-made packs borrow the look of the games they come from. Sonic Pixel is a 16-bit Sonic sprite with a pixel ring on hover. Roblox Pixel Noob is an 8-bit Noob with a pixel Linked Sword, Among Us Pixel is an 8-bit lime crewmate with a wrench, and FNAF Pixel Freddy is a minigame-style Freddy with a birthday cake. Enchanted Gold Cursor and Fire Coral Block are Minecraft items, each paired with a blocky pointing hand. Pixel Droid Duo sets BB-8 as the cursor and R2-D2's manipulator arm as the pointer. None is official or licensed.
Why blocky sprites hold up at small sizes
A cursor is a tiny image, and pixel art was made for small screens and small sprites. Blocks of colour and hard edges survive shrinking in a way that soft shading does not, so these packs stay readable when you drag the size slider down. Bone Pebble Pixel is the quiet one, in soft bone-grey. Misty Puff Pixel is pastel pink and yellow with a teal outline. For strong colour, look at Emerald Pixel Frog, Lime Candy Cube or Neon Spark Pixel in electric blue.
Which Pixel Art pack to pick
For work and study tabs, Non-Photo Blue Pixel behaves like a normal arrow, only bluer. On dark pages pick something bright: Neon Spark Pixel, Aqua Donut Buddy in cyan or Frosted Pond Pixel. On white pages the saturated greens of Emerald Pixel Frog and Moss Pixel Sprite show well, while Bone Pebble Pixel can fade. Minecraft players have Fire Coral Block and Enchanted Gold Cursor. Where Pixel Art cursors work
Pixel art fans spend time on sprite databases, itch.io, Lospec palette pages, speedrun leaderboards, retro game wikis and YouTube, and the cursor shows on all of them in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera GX. It does not appear inside Aseprite or any other desktop editor, in an emulator or game client, on chrome:// pages or in the Chrome Web Store.

How do I turn my own pixel art into a cursor?
Use the builder on the site. Upload one sprite for the normal pointer and a second for the hover state, then save the pair. After that it behaves like any other pack, and you set its size with the slider in the extension popup.
