About the Nature cursor collection
Nature gathers original packs about the outdoors, and it is wider than plants alone. Weather and water appear in Verdant Rain Pixel, a grassy tuft with a blue raindrop, Frosted Pond Pixel, a cyan tile of ice, and Dewdrop Pixel Pal. Flowers are covered by Lilac Field Bloom, Lilac Bloom Pixel, Orchid Petal Sprite and Puff and Spike. Pink Kunzite Cursor is a polished crystal, Fossil Friend is a slab of rock with a dinosaur footprint, and Silver Web Sprite spins a spider's web. Geography Teacher Pack shows a cross-section of the Earth, and Lumen Glow Sprite is a small lantern of blue light. It suits walkers, gardeners and geology enthusiasts.
Rain, frost and dew: a nature cursor for the weather
An unusual feature of this collection is how much of it is about water. Verdant Rain Pixel is a green, grassy design for a rainy day, Frosted Pond Pixel a frozen one, and Dewdrop Pixel Pal a single glossy drop. That makes it easy to match the pointer to the season outside your window: rain in spring and autumn, frost in winter, lilac and orchid when things are in flower. Changing pack is a single click, so a seasonal rotation takes very little effort to keep up.
Rocks, fossils and the geography classroom
Not everything outdoors is green. Pink Kunzite Cursor is a pink gemstone, Fossil Friend carries a dinosaur footprint and a rib-bone impression, and Geography Teacher Pack is a pixel-art slice through the Earth showing crust, mantle, outer core and inner core. Together they make a small earth-science corner. A themed pointer gives a class something to notice when you present from a browser. The extension works on Chromebooks where the school or owner allows extensions.
Which Nature pack to pick
Several packs are pixel art, including Verdant Rain Pixel, Frosted Pond Pixel, Dewdrop Pixel Pal, Lilac Bloom Pixel and Geography Teacher Pack, and that style stays crisp at small sizes. Green is uncommon in page backgrounds, so Verdant Rain Pixel shows on both white and dark pages. Frosted Pond Pixel is a glossy cyan and Silver Web Sprite is silvery, so both show more strongly on dark pages. Pink Kunzite Cursor is a single crystal with a simple outline. Lumen Glow Sprite glows blue and stands out on dark pages.

Where Nature cursors work
Nature cursors show on the web pages you open in Chrome and other Chromium browsers: walking-route planners, weather sites, plant and bird identification guides, gardening forums and classroom slides in Google Slides. They do not appear in a maps or weather app installed on the device, on chrome:// pages, in the Chrome Web Store or across the operating system.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a leaf or plant cursor for Chrome?
Puff and Spike is a tiny pixel garden, and Lilac Field Bloom, Lilac Bloom Pixel and Orchid Petal Sprite are floral. Verdant Rain Pixel brings the grass. There is no single-leaf pack here at present, though the Animals collection has pairs with a leaf on hover.
Which nature cursor is the least distracting?
Small pixel packs with a single subject are the calmest: Dewdrop Pixel Pal, Verdant Rain Pixel and Lilac Bloom Pixel are good candidates. Keep the size modest with the slider in the extension popup. Lumen Glow Sprite and Pink Kunzite Cursor are glowing designs and draw the eye more.
Are the nature cursors based on any game or film?
No. The packs in this collection are original designs of weather, plants, minerals and fossils, with no link to an existing franchise. That makes them a neutral choice for shared computers. Fan-made character packs are kept in the gaming, anime, cartoon and film collections.
Is there a crystal or gemstone cursor?
Pink Kunzite Cursor is a single polished pink kunzite crystal that seems to glow from within. It is the only gemstone in this collection. The Pink collection has a second pink crystal, and the Cool collection has a blue pixel gem.
