About the Fantasy cursor collection
Fantasy is a compact collection that mixes original designs with fan-made packs. The originals are on mythic and magical themes: Auric Trident Guardian, a jewel-set trident with a face, Sea Feather Guardian, a winged charm in water blue, Brave Helm Buddy, a small knight's helmet, Ember Droplet, an orb that is half water and half fire, Violet Pixel Shroom, Prism Ember Sprite and Galaxy Glo Jelly. The fan-made packs are Snufkin Fishing Rod, after the wanderer from the Moomin stories, Gilda Griffon Cursors, the griffon from My Little Pony, and Mister Fantastic Stretch, the stretching superhero. Those three are not official or licensed. It suits fantasy readers and tabletop role-players.
Guardians, helms and tridents for tabletop players
If you spend evenings in a browser-based virtual tabletop, a character sheet site or a rules wiki, a themed pointer is a small way to stay in the mood. Brave Helm Buddy reads as a fighter or paladin, Auric Trident Guardian and Sea Feather Guardian suit a sea-themed campaign, Violet Pixel Shroom fits a druid or a trip underground, and Ember Droplet is a fair stand-in for a fire or water spell. The cursor changes on those sites because they run in the browser.
Which fantasy cursors are fan art and which are not
This page mixes both, so it is worth being clear. Snufkin Fishing Rod, Gilda Griffon Cursors and Mister Fantastic Stretch are based on characters from existing books, cartoons and comics. They are fan-made and have no connection to the rights holders. The guardian, helm, ember, shroom, sprite and jelly packs are not taken from any existing series. If you are choosing a cursor for a shared or professional setting and want to avoid recognisable characters, keep to that second group.
Which Fantasy pack to pick
Long shapes make natural pointers. Auric Trident Guardian is built around a gleaming trident and Snufkin Fishing Rod around a rod, so both are easy to aim. Violet Pixel Shroom is pixel art and stays sharp when small. Prism Ember Sprite is a rainbow flame, bright enough for dark mode. Galaxy Glo Jelly is in deep purples and cyan, so check it on dark pages first. Mister Fantastic Stretch and Gilda Griffon Cursors are full-body characters and need a larger size.

Each pack is a matched pair: one image for your normal pointer and one that takes over when you hover a link or button.
- Snufkin Fishing Rod Cursor: Snufkin walking with his fishing rod and backpack for the pointer, a cream pointing hand with an olive green cuff on hover.
- Gilda Griffon Cursor: Gilda as a tan and cream cartoon griffon for the pointer, a scaly eagle leg with a curved talon on hover.
- Mister Fantastic Stretch Cursor: Mister Fantastic in his blue suit stretching one arm for the pointer, a yellow hand in a blue cuff marked 4 on hover.
- Violet Pixel Shroom Cursor: a smiling pixel art mushroom with a violet cap for the pointer, the same mushroom pointing with a green leaf arm on hover.
- Auric Trident Guardian Cursor: a smiling golden trident with a blue gem for the pointer, the golden trident raising a pointing finger on hover.
- Ember Droplet Cursor: a smiling orb that is half water and half flame for the pointer, the same water and flame orb pointing on hover.
- Brave Helm Buddy Cursor: a smiling silver knight helmet with a yellow plume for the pointer, the same helmet knight pointing with a gauntlet on hover.
- Prism Ember Sprite Cursor: a glossy rainbow flame with a smiling face for the pointer, the rainbow flame raising a pointing finger on hover.
- Sea Feather Guardian Cursor: a glossy blue water droplet with feathered wings for the pointer, the same winged droplet raising an arm to point on hover.

Where Fantasy cursors work
Fantasy cursors show on browser-based role-playing tools and reading sites in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera GX: virtual tabletops, character sheet sites, rules wikis, web novels and forums. Some web apps set their own pointer over a map or canvas, and theirs takes priority there. Desktop game clients, launchers, chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store are not affected.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a sword, wand or dragon cursor in the fantasy collection?
Not under those names at present. The closest pointer-like packs are Auric Trident Guardian and Snufkin Fishing Rod, and Brave Helm Buddy is a knight's helmet. The site's builder lets you upload any sword, wand or dragon image to make your own pair.
Which fantasy cursor suits a dark-themed website?
Bright, warm packs work well: Prism Ember Sprite, a rainbow flame, and Auric Trident Guardian, a gleaming trident, stand out against a dark page. Galaxy Glo Jelly glows in purples and cyan, but those colours are deep, so check it at your usual cursor size first.
Will a fantasy cursor show up in online role-playing tools?
If the tool runs as a website in Chrome or another Chromium browser, the cursor appears there. Some web apps set their own pointer over maps or canvases, and theirs takes priority in those areas. Desktop game clients are outside the browser and are not affected.
Is there a mushroom or cottagecore fantasy cursor?
Violet Pixel Shroom is a chubby violet mushroom with a face, drawn in pixel art. For a wandering, outdoorsy feel there is the fan-made Snufkin Fishing Rod, which shows Snufkin with his rod and small backpack. Sea Feather Guardian is a softer, winged charm.
