Wednesday Cursors

About the Wednesday cursor collection

This Wednesday cursor set is five fan-made chibi stickers for people who like their browser in black. Wednesday Addams stands with her braids and sends Thing, the hand, to do the pointing. Enid Sinclair brings the colour, wolf ears up, with a pink wolf paw on hover. Morticia Addams is paired with a red rose. Wednesday Cello gives her instrument a pack of its own with a black dahlia, and Wednesday Halloween shows her holding a pumpkin beside a little bat.

Thing does the pointing

The usual hover cursor in a browser is a small pointing hand. In the Wednesday Addams pack that hand is Thing, the family's disembodied hand, who follows her to Nevermore Academy and does much of her legwork. It is about as literal as a pointing hand can get. Enid's pink wolf paw makes the same joke in her colours: she is Wednesday's werewolf roommate, who spends the first season waiting to wolf out at last.

The cello, the dahlia and the Wednesday Halloween pack

Wednesday plays the cello on her dormitory balcony, and that scene is why the instrument has a pack. A black dahlia takes over on hover, and with no character in the picture it is the quietest gothic choice. Morticia's red rose is the single note of colour in a black pack. The Halloween edition is also listed with the seasonal Halloween cursors; its orange pumpkin gives it more colour than the standard pack, and it suits October well.

Which Wednesday pack to pick

On white or pale pages, choose Wednesday Addams, Morticia Addams or Wednesday Cello: their dark colours look best on light backgrounds. In dark mode, choose Enid Sinclair, the brightest pack here. Wednesday Halloween sits in between and is the October pick. Morticia Addams reads best at medium size. If you want gothic without a face, Wednesday Cello is the one.
