Minecraft Steve and the diamond pickaxe
Steve is the original default player skin, the figure on the box art and the one most people picture mining their first block. The teal shirt is his whole wardrobe. A diamond pickaxe is the tool players work towards in every new world, because nothing below it mines obsidian, so it is the natural thing to put beside him. In this pack he is a chibi sticker with a white border, and the pickaxe appears over anything clickable.
Getting a blocky miner to read at cursor size
The white sticker border separates Steve from dark backgrounds, so he holds up in dark mode on a wiki or a mod site. On white pages the teal shirt carries him. A pickaxe has a head and a handle, which gives the hover image a clear direction. Start at medium size. For the mob that haunts his mines, try Minecraft Creeper next, which swaps the pickaxe for a block of TNT.

Minecraft Steve cursor questions
Can I use the Steve cursor while playing Minecraft?
No. Minecraft Java and Bedrock run as their own programs and draw their own pointer. The Steve cursor appears in Chrome on sites such as minecraft.net, the Minecraft Wiki and mod pages, not in a world or in the Launcher.
Is there an Alex version of the Minecraft Steve cursor?
Not at the moment. Steve is the only player character in the Minecraft set. The other packs cover the Creeper, the Enderman, an Axolotl and items such as the diamond sword.
