About the Dragon Ball cursor collection

Six fan-made packs form this Dragon Ball cursor set for Chrome, five chibi stickers and one neon piece. Goku wears his orange gi and pairs with the four-star Dragon Ball. Vegeta stands with arms crossed and a Scouter for hover. Piccolo is in his cape with a Senzu bean, Majin Buu is pink and round with a wrapped candy, and Shenron is coiled up beside a Dragon Radar. Super Saiyan Goku is the odd one out: vivid gold with a painted glow, and a Kamehameha blast when you hover a link.

Scouter, Senzu bean, Dragon Radar: gadgets as pointers

Most hover items here are things characters carry rather than attacks. Vegeta's Scouter is the eyepiece that reads power levels, the gadget he arrived on Earth wearing. Piccolo's Senzu bean is the small green cure handed round before every big fight. Shenron's Dragon Radar is Bulma's invention for tracking the seven balls that summon him, so the dragon ends up pointing with the thing used to find him. Majin Buu's wrapped candy fits someone who turns his enemies into sweets.

Two Goku packs and which Dragon Ball cursor is which

Goku appears twice. The pack called Goku is the friendly chibi in an orange gi, and its four-star ball is the keepsake from Grandpa Gohan at the very start of the story. Super Saiyan Goku is a different drawing in a neon style, gold with a soft outer glow, and its hover pointer is a Kamehameha blast done the same way. Both are still images. The glow is painted in, so nothing pulses or flickers while you browse.

Which Dragon Ball pack to pick

Dark mode users should try Super Saiyan Goku first, since the neon gold looks its best on dark pages. Goku in his orange gi works on light and dark alike and has the clearest pointer, a plain round ball. Majin Buu is one of the simplest shapes and good at small sizes. Shenron's long body has a lot of detail, so set the size to large. Vegeta is for anyone who backs the rival, and Piccolo is the understated one.

All 6 Dragon Ball packs

Each pack is a matched pair: one image for your normal pointer and one that takes over when you hover a link or button.

Where Dragon Ball cursors work

It shows on Crunchyroll's web player, the Dragon Ball Wiki, Kanzenshuu, MyAnimeList, AniList, Reddit and the MANGA Plus reader. It does not show inside Dragon Ball FighterZ, Sparking! Zero or Xenoverse, which run on Steam and consoles, or in any streaming app on a phone or TV. Those are separate programs, and the extension only works on pages in Chrome.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Super Saiyan Goku cursor glow or flicker?

The glow is part of the drawing, done in a neon sticker style. It is a still image, so nothing flickers or pulses. The hover pointer is a Kamehameha blast drawn the same way, and both look their best on dark pages.

Why does the Goku cursor use the four-star Dragon Ball?

It is the ball most closely tied to him: the keepsake his Grandpa Gohan left him at the very start of the story. A single round ball also makes a clear hover pointer on light and dark pages.

Is there a Gohan, Trunks or Frieza cursor?

No. This set covers Goku in two versions, Vegeta, Piccolo, Majin Buu and Shenron. For anyone else, the builder on the site lets you upload your own image for the cursor and a second one for hover.
