About the Peppa Pig cursor collection
This Peppa Pig cursor set is four fan-made packs for small fans and for the grown-up who sets up the computer. The pack named Peppa Pig shows Peppa in her red dress, with a muddy puddle as the hover image. George Pig comes with Mr. Dinosaur, and Daddy Pig wears his glasses and swaps to a chocolate cake. Peppa Pig Christmas puts her in a Santa hat next to a little snowman. All are chibi stickers with bold outlines, which helps young children find the cursor on screen.
Puddles, Mr. Dinosaur and chocolate cake
Each hover image is the thing that character loves most, which gives a child something to look for. Peppa's favourite game is jumping in muddy puddles, so a puddle appears when she reaches a link. George rarely lets go of Mr. Dinosaur, his toy. Daddy Pig can never say no to chocolate cake. You can use this when teaching mouse control: ask your child to move Peppa around the page until the puddle shows, then click. The change tells them they have found something clickable.
Setting up a Peppa Pig cursor for a young child
Open the extension popup and move the size slider up; a large cursor is far easier for a three or four year old to follow. The extension has no ads inside it and needs no account, so there is nothing extra for a child to click by mistake. On a school or nursery Chromebook, extensions can only be added if the administrator allows them. The cursor is a still picture with no sound, so it will not pull attention from the activity on screen.
Which Peppa Pig pack to pick
The Peppa Pig pack is bright and simple, and young children can spot it easily on a white page, so start there. George Pig is the one for a younger sibling who wants a cursor of their own. Daddy Pig is for the parent in the house, and his cake is easy to recognise even at small sizes. Put Peppa Pig Christmas on for December and switch back afterwards, or leave it if someone insists.

Frequently asked questions
Who is Mr. Dinosaur?
George's favourite toy, a dinosaur he carries almost everywhere. In the George Pig pack it is the image that appears when the cursor is over a link or button, so George and his toy take turns.
Is the artwork suitable for young children?
Yes. The packs are plain, cheerful drawings of the pig family with nothing scary in them. The extension has no ads inside it and needs no account, which helps on a shared family computer or a classroom laptop.
Can I make the Peppa Pig cursor bigger for a toddler?
Yes. Open the extension popup and drag the size slider up. A large setting makes Peppa much easier for small children to track, and the bold outlines keep her clear on a white page.
Are these official Peppa Pig cursors?
