Penguin Snow and Blue Icicle Cursor
A round penguin for the normal cursor and a blue icicle on hover. This original pack is one of the simpler shapes among the animal designs, so it should stay readable at small sizes. A good winter cursor that also works all year.

Penguin Snow: a round bird with a blue icicle
Penguins are built for cold water: a dense layer of feathers, a body shaped like a skittle and a walk that makes everyone smile. This original pack keeps the bird as simple as it can be, one round penguin, and pairs it with a blue icicle on hover. Ice is where a penguin stands, slides and dives from, so the pointer is a piece of its home. Nothing here ties it to a holiday.
A simple shape for small sizes
This is one of the plainer outlines among the animal designs, close to an oval with a beak, so it should stay readable when the slider is low. An icicle is a narrow spike that ends in a point, so the hover image aims well at small links. The blue of the icicle adds a cold note that fits the theme. It suits winter and works the rest of the year too. Next, try Koala Leaf.

Penguin Snow cursor questions
Is the Penguin Snow cursor a Christmas cursor?
Not specifically. It has a penguin and an icicle, with no hat, tree or presents, so it works as a general winter cursor and does not look out of place in other months.
Is this the Linux penguin or a Club Penguin cursor?
Neither. It is an original drawing of a round penguin in chibi sticker style, with a blue icicle on hover. It is not connected to any mascot, operating system or game.
