A Red Panda and the bamboo it lives on
Red pandas are small tree-dwellers from the Himalayan forests, about the size of a house cat, with a ringed tail and a face that looks permanently pleased. Despite the name they are only distant relatives of giant pandas, yet they share the diet: bamboo, mostly the tender leaves. That is the pairing in this original pack. A friendly red panda is the cursor, and a bamboo leaf appears when you hover a link.
Russet fur and a slim green leaf
Russet is a deep orange-red that should hold its own on both white and dark pages, so you are unlikely to need a different cursor for night mode. A bamboo leaf is long and narrow and tapers to a tip, which makes it one of the more exact hover pointers among the animal packs. The face detail is clearer at medium size. If warm woodland colours appeal, the next one to try is Squirrel Acorn.

All Animals packsRed Panda cursor questions
Is the Red Panda cursor based on a film character?
No. It is an original Cursor Customiser drawing of the animal in chibi sticker style and is not taken from any film, show or game. The hover pointer is a plain bamboo leaf.
Does the Red Panda cursor show up on dark mode?
It should. The russet fur is a strong colour against dark backgrounds, and it also reads on white pages. If your theme is a warm brown or orange, make the cursor a little larger so it does not blend in.
