About the Kirby cursor collection

Two fan-made Kirby cursor packs for Chrome: one with Kirby himself and one built from items. It is a small set. Kirby Summer has Kirby in sunglasses on a pool float, with a melon ice pop as the hover pointer. Kirby Maxim Tomato uses a shiny Maxim Tomato as the normal pointer and a Star Block on hover. Both are chibi stickers, and both suit anyone after a cheerful, low-key cursor.

What the Maxim Tomato and Star Block mean to players

The Maxim Tomato is the tomato marked with an M that restores all of Kirby's health, so finding one before a boss is always good news. Star Blocks are the breakable blocks that fill the stages, the ones you inhale or smash through. As a pair they go from round to square, which makes it clear when you are over something clickable. It is a pack for players who know the items as well as the character.

A summer Kirby cursor you can leave on all year

Kirby Summer is the seasonal pack: sunglasses, a pool float and a melon ice pop. It is pink and round, a relaxed choice for holiday browsing, though nothing stops you using it in January. There are no copy ability packs yet, so no Sword or Fire Kirby, and no Waddle Dee or Meta Knight either. If you want one of those, the builder takes your own images for the pointer and the hover state.

Which Kirby pack to pick

Choose Kirby Summer if you want Kirby on screen, since it is the only pack that shows him. Choose Kirby Maxim Tomato if you prefer objects, or if you want the clearest signal when you hover a link, because the shape changes from round to square. With only two packs, the quickest way to decide is to try both.

All 2 Kirby packs

Each pack is a matched pair: one image for your normal pointer and one that takes over when you hover a link or button.

Where Kirby cursors work

Kirby cursors apply to websites in Chrome: the Kirby pages on nintendo.com, WiKirby, fan-art boards on Pinterest, soundtrack playlists on YouTube and whatever else is open. They cannot change anything inside a Kirby game on Nintendo Switch or an older console, or in an emulator.
