Overwatch Cursors

About the Overwatch cursor collection

Five fan-made packs make up this Overwatch cursor set for Chrome, each pairing a hero with a piece of their kit. Overwatch D.Va shows her with her bunny decal and switches to her pink light gun over links. Overwatch Tracer, in her goggles, hands over to a pulse bomb. Overwatch Mercy has golden wings and the Caduceus Staff. Overwatch Neon Genji is a green neon sticker with a shuriken on hover, and Pachimari is the claw-machine plush drawn as a kawaii sticker with a rice ball.

Why each Overwatch cursor hovers with that item

Every hover pointer is something the hero actually uses. D.Va fires her light gun only after her mech is destroyed, so it is the pilot's own weapon, not the machine's. Tracer's pulse bomb is her Ultimate, the sticky charge she throws before blinking away. Mercy's Caduceus Staff is the beam that heals and damage-boosts whoever she is tethered to. Genji throws his shuriken three at a time. The item appears whenever you pass over a link or button, then the hero returns.

Three roles, one ninja in neon and a plush

The chibi packs cover each role once: D.Va from the tanks, Tracer from damage and Mercy from support. Genji is drawn differently, as a neon sticker in green with a soft glow, so Overwatch Neon Genji is the one built for dark pages such as a dark-mode wiki or forum. Pachimari is the odd one out. It is no hero at all, just the half-onion, half-octopus toy from the arcade claw machines, and it suits anyone who wants the game without a weapon on screen.

Which Overwatch pack to pick

Pachimari is the roundest shape here, so choose it if you keep your cursor small. Overwatch Neon Genji belongs on dark pages; on white ones the glow has little to work against. Overwatch Mercy and Overwatch Tracer carry finer detail in the wings and goggles, so move the size slider up a step for those two. Overwatch D.Va sits in the middle and is bold enough for most backgrounds.

How to add a Overwatch cursor to Chrome

Add Cursor Customiser, the free custom cursor extension, from the Chrome Web Store, then press “Use this pack” on any pack above. It applies straight away.

Where Overwatch cursors work

You will see these on the Overwatch site and its patch notes, hero wikis, stat pages such as Overbuff, forums and Reddit, all opened in Chrome. They do not appear in the game, in Battle.net or Steam, or on a console. Those are separate programs, and your in-game reticle and settings stay exactly as you left them.
